Dr. Chris Schaefer believes that a comprehensive approach to urology care is important and he strives to educate patients about their own conditions as to improve results. Patients are encouraged to ask questions in order to completely understand their medical problems and a custom-made treatment plan is created for each patient based on their unique concerns. His training as an osteopath gives Dr. Schaefer a unique approach to disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment that focuses on the patient as a whole.

Dr. Schaefer has advanced expertise and a particular interest in the latest prosthetic devices such as penile implants, artificial urinary sphincters, and female/male slings. He also has extensive experience with the management of kidney stones and offers the latest technology used in the treatment of stones including advanced ureteroscopy, shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), and percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL).

Dr. Schaefer is Board Certified in urology and an active member of several medical societies including: American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, American Urological Association, Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, and the Bucks County Medical Society. He has been a practicing urologist and resident of the Bucks County area since 2007.
